John Jefferson has left Ouellette & Associates for a claim management position with a carrier. John had been an employee of Ouellette & Associates for 7 years and was an asset to the company; however, there were more opportunities with a carrier for growth and John left with all of his assignments that remained open in good order to be transferred to the appropriate adjuster within our company to handle to conclusion.
Daniel McLaughlin comes to Ouellette & Associates, hired on 1/22/14 as a property adjuster and liability trainee. Dan has a construction background. He is a licensed adjuster in the state of Indiana, certified Xactimate in all three categories of training, and has come aboard with enthusiasm and the ability to handle claims on a timely basis. He is very thorough in his scoping and reporting as well as his communication and people skills.
The severe winds, rains, snow and ice in the months of December have caused many personal auto accidents and large national and independent trucking line accidents, which we have been a part of investigating. For example, the photo included is from investigating the large, multi-vehicle/truck accident that made national news on I-94, which we handled and continue to handle.
The months of December and January in Indiana and our coverage areas of the counties surrounding the state of Indiana have had storms, which have been severe with winds, rains, and eventually snow, ice and extreme low temperatures below zero with wind chills down to 40 below zero.
This has caused a large amount of damage to property, both homeowners and commercial properties, which we handle claims for various carriers.
Sunday, 11-17-13 brought most of Indiana severe storms with winds of 70 MPH, as well as 26 tornado touch downs. Residential and commercial properties have been affected, as well as vehicular accidents.
As the weather has cleared, we are prepared to handle any property or liability claims your claims department may have received due to these storms. Our staff is prepared, and if need be, we have a roster of CAT adjusters we have used in the past who are top notch. Rest assured, we will not take any more than we can handle, and we will provide the service you expect from Ouellette & Associates.
