Winter is upon us in Indiana – beginning yesterday and through the evening with temperatures dropping below freezing and wind chill well below, as well as light rain turned into sleet and snow. This has caused winter storm warnings in the areas. This will lead to potential water pipe bursts, potential electrical and gas furnace fires, as well as dangerous driving conditions.
We have successfully test flown the Ouellette & Associates Drone, “Maverick,” and are ready for pre-inspections of roof systems that would normally take a bucket truck at a cost of $1,200.00 just to get access, and many times to find that damage is a maintenance issue. Images can be captured, and if there is actual damage, then rental a bucket truck as on roof inspection would be necessary. Also for large trucking accidents, where traffic is backed up, we can send the Drone ahead of the adjuster to capture images and video before units and cars are moved. This will reduce unnecessary costs on some property claims and provide instant live streaming of large Long Haul Trucking Claims for our valued clients.

As 2014 comes to a close, 2015 begins with many new changes. We just launched our Social Media sites through Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, LinkedIn and Google+ (no I’ll not be singing Sinatra or Michael Buble), where we will keep you posted on our newest endeavors.
As a multi-line claims adjusting firm, we work with many clients – each with their own requirements and standards. Some keep a “score card” on performance, and thanks to the staff, we rank 90% in all areas. We’ll never be perfect, but we are proud to see us well above average.
2015 brings more opportunities, as I become President of the NAIIA – the largest IA association in the world. Only by the Grace of God, my Higher Power, and many friend who have elected me. With this position, my legacy will be to have an NAIIA Call Center to attract clients to come to IA firms rather than the national companies, where one has to go through multiple people to assign, or get status of a claim.
We are here to serve our clients, insured and claimants to make sure all are at “pre-loss condition.”
